Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to welcome and assist guests, guiding them through checkout, promotions, and available services. You will help resolve guest concerns, explain features of the Target App, and promote loyalty programs while maintaining a positive store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a guest-first attitude in a fast-paced retail setting, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training will cover standard service practices and safety compliance.

• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
