Job summary

Target is seeking a friendly Guest Advocate to help guests, explain services, and keep the store running smoothly. You will greet guests, explain quick-service options like Order Pick Up and Drive Up, and promote Target Loyalty benefits.

The role is fast-paced, requires teamwork, flexibility, and a willingness to learn our products and policies. Training is provided to help you grow and deliver excellent guest experiences every day.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to educate guests about products and services.
• Comfort using handheld scanners and multiple devices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain focus in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the Target guest experience.
• Greet guests as you complete daily tasks and assist with needs.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Know and explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist sign-up.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, safely and accurately.
• Assist with Drive Up and Order Pick Up processes and enroll guests as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support cash handling as needed.
