Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to provide a welcoming and efficient guest experience in-store. You will greet guests, help them locate items, resolve issues, and guide them through promotions and app features.

You will also assist with order pickup, drive-up, and online ordering while maintaining high service standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).
• Able to communicate clearly and adhere to Target's service standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and assist with finding products or resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and maintain a positive attitude.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while following Target policies and procedures.
• Explain and promote current promos, store activities, and features of the Target App.
• Assist with order pick up, drive-up and online ordering and help guests enroll or use these services.
• Handle returns/exchanges and escalate to leaders when needed.
