Job summary

Paradies Lagardère is hiring a Cashier/Snack Bar Associate in Michigan. You will warmly greet guests, take orders, and process payments with accuracy using the POS system. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure food safety standards are followed to deliver a memorable guest experience.

The role emphasizes high-energy, team collaboration, and flexibility to assist in various restaurant areas. Prior guest service experience is valued; ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
• Customer service focused and solution oriented.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and cash handling procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
• Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take drink and food orders within 30 seconds of entry.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments using the POS system.
• Handle money and cash transactions following company procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu and products.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues with manager support when needed.
• Assist with training new team members and provide guidance as needed.
• Support other restaurant areas including seating, answering calls, stocking, and cleaning.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness; keep logs and sanitation standards.
