Job summary

Paradies Lagardère in Romulus, MI is hiring for a Cashier/Snack Bar Associate. You will greet guests, take orders quickly, suggest items, and process payments with a smile, upholding our TRIFIC values and clean, professional appearance.

Responsibilities include handling POS transactions accurately, maintaining food safety and sanitation logs, supporting other team members, and assisting with opening/closing duties. A high school diploma and customer service focus are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Food and Beverage experience is preferred.
• Customer service focused and solution oriented.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and cash handling procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greets guests and takes orders within 30 seconds of entry.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments using the POS system.
• Handle money and card payments and follow Cash Handling SOPs.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and products for guests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve issues with Manager if needed.
• Assist with training and support other restaurant areas as required.
• Participate in food safety programs and keep logs clean and organized.
• Keep work area clean and stocked, rotating products as necessary.
