Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. Texarkana, TX store is seeking a friendly team member to assist customers and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

You will perform stocking, merchandising, and store recovery duties to keep products in stock and well-presented. You will process transactions, promote rewards programs, and assist with omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Regular lifting and stocking duties.
• Walk customers to product locations and assist with questions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers about the VOC survey and gather feedback.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram updates.
• Maintain store recovery, backstock, and merchandise presentation to keep shelves in-stock.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model professional behavior for teammates.
• Support shrink reduction and safety programs.
