Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Arkansas LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the cash register, stock shelves, receive merchandise, and help maintain store cleanliness and safety.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned
