Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Arkansas LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, protect company assets, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Role includes unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment. A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail or customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and surroundings.
