Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Arkansas LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience by assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining store conditions. You will manage cash register operations, stock shelves, unload trucks, and ensure a clean, safe, and friendly store environment for customers and colleagues.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, retail or service experience, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs with strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
