Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to elevate the guest experience and ensure smooth execution of store tasks in North Haven, CT. You will greet guests, operate the POS, handle cash-related duties, and maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies to keep in stock.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors as per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
