Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in a role focused on delivering top-notch guest experiences at our West Haven, CT store. You will greet customers, operate the POS, and ensure a clean, stocked environment while adhering to safety and store policies.

The position requires flexibility to work day/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays, with on-site duties including inventory, restocking, and collaboration with management to meet guest requests.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including day, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
