Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Guest Service Associate to enhance guest experiences and support store operations in Connecticut. You will greet guests, handle POS duties, and maintain cleanliness while following safety and store policies.

The role involves restocking, inventory tasks, and collaboration with management. Flexible hours, outdoor work, and lifting up to 25 lbs are expected. Competitive pay and benefits accompany permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Basic computer skills for daily tasks.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoor, coolers, etc.).
• Lift/carry up to 25 lbs and climb ladders or stairs as needed.
• Access to all store areas (selling floor, stock, register).
• Duties performed in a timely manner.
• Able to count, read and write to complete paperwork.
• Support the onboarding and training of new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Assist with gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.
