Job summary

Bass Pro Outdoor World is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome customers and provide outstanding service at the store entrance. You will promote membership programs, assist with check-ins, and help direct guests toward services while upholding our brand standards and safety policies.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, teamwork, and a proactive, customer-first attitude in a fast-paced retail environment. Join our team and contribute to a welcoming guest experience daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
• Excellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers in a friendly, outgoing manner.
• Promotes programs including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pickup.
• Maintains professional appearance per dress code and brand standards.
• Checks in customer merchandise returns and logs details.
• Checks in vendor representatives and manages visitor badges.
• Keeps guests informed about events, sales, and promotions, and distributes promo materials.
• Ensures entryway and surrounding area are clean, tidy, and safe.
• Assists with firearm guest check-in through the Outfitters per SOP; greeters do not handle firearms.
• All other duties as assigned.
