Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Tempe, AZ seeks a Front Desk Agent to provide a five-star welcome and departure experience. You will greet guests, share resort information, and promote amenities and services, while handling check-ins/check-outs and settling accounts at departure.

You will collaborate closely with Concierge, Bell-Door and Ideal Services teams to resolve issues and fulfill special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction and security throughout the stay.

Qualifications

• Clear and pleasant communication in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Accurate input of information into computer systems.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers across departments.
• Strong mathematical calculation skills.
• Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Cashiering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins and check-outs per Omni standards.
• Listen empathetically to guest inquiries and provide responses.
• Set up accurate guest accounts according to preferences (room type, payment).
• Block rooms in the system and follow through on requirements.
• Pre-register guests and prepare key packets.
• Communicate guest information to relevant departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
• Ensure security of guest room access.
• Process folios and ensure accurate settlements.
• Maintain guest history files and accommodate room changes as needed.
• Document guest requests or problems and ensure satisfaction.
