Job summary

Daly Seven seeks a Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests and create memorable experiences. You will greet guests, manage check-ins/outs, and act as a local expert on attractions and dining.

Responsibilities include handling reservations, cash, and complaints, and ensuring breakfast service and lobby upkeep. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and professional communication, with prior hotel or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel brand experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand for an extended period, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, stoop, and go up/down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth, checking them in and out with friendliness, speed, and accuracy.
• Be the go-to expert for local attractions, restaurants, and events with maps and publications.
• Handle guest complaints with professional care and concern.
• Promote the franchise membership club and help guests secure future stays.
• If full, proactively assist guests with lodging referrals.
• Maintain cash handling, cash drawer, and balance shift reports daily.
• Take and record reservations, verify credit card validity, monitor status.
• Operate the switchboard and master computer systems.
• Keep lobby and office clean; set up continental breakfast and coffee service.
• Report hazards and participate in safety procedures; assist in emergencies.
