Job summary

Daly Seven is seeking a Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs with speed and accuracy, and serve as the local hospitality expert for attractions, dining, and events.

You’ll balance cash, handle reservations, and assist guests with referrals when needed while maintaining a tidy lobby and breakfast service. This role emphasizes safety, guest satisfaction, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel brand experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly go up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth, checking them in and out with friendliness, speed, and accuracy.
• Be the go-to expert for local attractions, restaurants, and events, using maps to provide directions.
• Handle guest complaints with professional care and concern.
• Promote our franchise membership club and help guests secure future stays at Daly Seven properties.
• If our hotel is full, help guests find lodging via referrals.
• Maintain accuracy in handling cash, managing the cash drawer, and balancing shift reports daily.
• Take and record reservations accurately, verify credit card validity, and stay updated on daily and future reservation status.
• Operate the switchboard and master computer operations, and maintain the ADA box location.
• Ensure the lobby and office are clean and set up continental breakfast and coffee service.
• Report hazards and assist in safety procedures, including emergency measures.
