Job summary

The Courtyard by Marriott Champaign is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, check them in/out, and answer inquiries with warmth and efficiency. You will manage calls, assist with reservations, and maintain accurate front desk records to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, strong organizational skills, and a positive, upbeat attitude.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, multitasking, and time management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems is a plus.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: Greet, register, issue room keys, and assist guests with inquiries to ensure an exceptional arrival and departure experience.
• Guest Service: Answer and transfer calls promptly and politely, ensuring the highest level of customer service.
• Attention to Detail: Monitor lobby and front desk records, complete required reports, and process purchase requisitions and invoices.
• Positive Energy: Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and bring energy to the team.
• Problem Solving: Listen effectively to understand and resolve guest concerns quickly, both face-to-face and on the phone.
