Job summary

Chicago Marriott Naperville is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-in and check-out with professionalism and clear information.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year hotel front desk or 2 years customer service experience, strong verbal communication, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and overnights. Attention to detail and guest satisfaction mindset essential.

Qualifications

• One year hotel front desk experience or two years customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to verbally communicate clearly with guests and fellow employees.
• Must be able to analyze routine data and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and completes check-in procedures using computerized methods.
• Answers all incoming phone calls for the hotel property.
• Takes room service orders for in-house guests.
• Handles internal and external chats for in-house and upcoming guests.
• Communicates hotel rates and information to guests to sell room nights and increase occupancy.
• Maintains courteous manner and resolves guest concerns promptly.
• Operates the internal radio system for effective communication.
• Maintains a friendly, cheerful demeanor at all times.
• Follows established shift checklists and check-in/out procedures.
• Understands hotel operations including hours, pricing, Marriott Bonvoy, and local information.
