Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) seeks a part-time Front Desk Associate at NGIS Little Creek to welcome guests, check them in/out, and manage reservations with attention to security and guest satisfaction.

You will use the PMS to handle bookings, assist with payments, and support overnight shifts as needed. The role requires weekend/holiday work and may include NHG front desk certification within six months.

Qualifications

• One year of general office clerical experience.
• One year progressively responsible experience related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide courteous service at the front desk.
• Process check-ins/check-outs and verify guest eligibility.
• Operate the PMS to create, modify, confirm, and cancel reservations.
• Handle payments, issue receipts, and balance cash at shift end.
• Answer calls, deliver messages, and manage wake-up calls.
• Coordinate room allocations, inventory, and guest requests.
• Maintain lobby appearance and security of guest areas.
• Log maintenance requests and communicate issues to management.
