IHG Hotels is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver warm, professional service from check-in to check-out. You will process payments, assist guests with requests, and help manage bookings to ensure a memorable stay.

Your role includes upselling opportunities, handling inquiries, and maintaining a safe, friendly lobby presence. Expect varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and be ready to contribute to a high-performing front desk team.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to handle guest concerns and compliments.
• Problem-solving to turn issues into opportunities for a better guest experience.
• Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus but not required.
• Literate and tech-savvy with basic math and computer literacy.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a bonus but not essential.
• Experience in front desk or guest services preferred (at least 1 year).
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform related tasks.

Responsabilités

• Check-in/check-out guests promptly and professionally; process payments per procedures.
• Provide local insights and anticipate guest needs for a friction-free stay.
• Manage guest bookings, upsell services, and communicate stay preferences.
• Handle cash and credit transactions and protect guest information.
• Record guest preferences, respond to messages and requests, and coordinate with management as needed.
• Be a brand ambassador, greet warmly, and stay informed about daily events and activities.
