Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Front Desk Agent position at Hotel Magdalena in Austin, TX invites you to welcome guests, check them in and out, take reservations and coordinate concierge services with courtesy and efficiency.

You will uphold hotel standards, handle guest concerns, balance shift transactions, and stay informed about local dining and activities to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Six months related hospitality or service experience.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.
• Ability to understand other computer programs (e.g. Property Management System).

Responsibilities

• Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and personalized manner.
• Take hotel reservations accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest comments and concerns and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate log of guest calls and balance shift banks.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel rates, availability, and local attractions.
• Open, secure and balance out shift banks and verify transactions.
• Maintain accounting and billing procedures accuracy.
