Job summary

Homewood Suites BWI, part of MCR-Hotels, seeks a Front Desk Agent to ensure a friendly arrival and departure experience, handle guest requests promptly, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere across shifts.

You will greet guests, use their names, manage check-in/out efficiently, stay knowledgeable about rates and promotions, and help with mail and guest services while upholding clean, organized spaces and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Listen, resolve conflicts and communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
• Age 18+; willing to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Ensure check-ins/outs are timely and guests are followed up after arrival.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of room rates and promotions.
• Receive and document all incoming mail as required.
• Provide friendly phone etiquette using the approved greeting.
