Job summary

Origin Hotel Kansas City is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. You will be the first and last touchpoint for guests, assisting with registration, check-out, reservations, and guest requests to ensure a memorable stay.

The role requires professional service, accurate payment handling, and collaboration with housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel/front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to handle payments and guest accounts accurately.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Register guests and check guests in and out efficiently.
• Provide warm, professional service and address guest requests.
• Answer phone calls and convey accurate hotel information.
• Process payments, deposits, and adjustments per policy.
• Maintain guest accounts and balance cash at shift end.
• Coordinate with departments for a seamless guest experience.
• Greet guests, confirm reservations, and assist with special requests.
• Uphold privacy, key control, and security procedures.
