Job summary

Origin Hotel Kansas City is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk Agent serves as one of the first and last points of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable hotel experience.

This position is responsible for guest registration and check-out, reservations and guest requests, telephone communications, payment processing, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to assist guests.
• Professional appearance, communication, and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to all guests.
• Check guests in and out accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
• Process payments, deposits, authorizations, and adjustments per hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and balance assigned cash; manage end-of-shift cash.
• Answer calls promptly and provide accurate hotel information.
