Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts, located at the Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center in Blacksburg, VA, seeks a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, handle check-in/check-out, answer calls, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, at least one year in a similar hotel role, and basic computer skills; starting pay ranges from $15 to $16.50 per hour for full-time employment, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• One year previous experience in a similar position in a hotel.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out.
• Answer all phone calls promptly and greet guests professionally.
• Provide information about hotel services, hours of operation, and local attractions.
• Maintain knowledge of room rates, packages, and promotions.
• Process registrations, payments, and issue vouchers as needed.
• Direct Bell Person for luggage and assist guests as required.
• Handle overbooked or walk-in guests and manage wake-up calls.
