Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent to assist guests with check-in/check-out, answer calls, and handle special requests in line with hotel policies. This role emphasizes courteous service and efficient room assignment.

The ideal candidate will maintain knowledge of hotel features, rates, and promotions, process payments, and coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Pay starts at $23/hour, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a hotel or guest services preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features/services, rates, packages, and promotions.
• Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
• Keep bank secure at all times.
• Answer department telephone within three rings, using correct greeting and etiquette.
• Process all guest check-ins and verify registration information.
• Input guest payment information and collect cash when designated.
• Escort guests to rooms and assist with luggage.
• Handle overbooked or walk-in guests.
• Record wake-up calls and distribute faxes.
• Communicate guest information to relevant departments.
