Legacy Resort Hotel and Spa in San Diego, CA is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, register arrivals, handle payments, and respond to inquiries with a courteous, professional approach. This role requires a High School diploma and may require CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
One-year experience in a hotel or customer relations position preferred.
Front Desk Agent experience in an upscale setting is preferred.
First Aid, CPR and defibrillator certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, handle registration and room assignments, and answer inquiries politely.
Process registrations, input guest data, and manage keys and rates.
Handle payments, verify cards, and balance at the end of shifts.
Answer phones, take messages, and relay information to guests.
Pre-register and manage reservations, including cancellations and rate structures.
Resolve guest complaints and provide hotel information and directions.
Oversee front office operations to maximize revenues and service quality.
Review VIP reservations and update inventory in the system.
Assist other front desk roles during busy periods.
