Job summary

Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests, register arrivals, and manage checkout while maintaining hotel standards.

The role requires excellent English communication, basic math and cash handling, and the ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation. High school diploma preferred; hospitality experience is a plus but not required. You will use a computer system to input guest information and process payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to input information using a computer system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; provide accurate information and assist with requests.
• Process registration by inputting guest information, selecting rooms, and coding keys.
• Handle payments, balance house bank, and post charges to guest accounts.
• Answer calls promptly and relay messages to guests; assist with mail and packages as requested.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and resolve issues per guidelines.
• Address guest complaints and resolve problems with discretion and calm under heavy activity.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a neat and secure front desk area.
• Assist other front desk staff as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
