Job summary

Wet Willie's in Emmitsburg, MD is seeking a friendly restaurant team member to deliver outstanding guest service and help grow the restaurant's client base.

You will work with management and staff to uphold product quality, cleanliness, and safety, while promoting suggestive selling in a warm, hospitable atmosphere. English communication and a courteous demeanor are essential, and you should be able to stand for extended periods. Previous restaurant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous food service/restaurant experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand / walk for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent guest service meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Work with team to grow the restaurant's client base.
• Operate in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Support staff while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.
• Follow safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure quality food and cleanliness.
• Promote suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain a warm, hospitable atmosphere.
