Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to help guests with a friendly, efficient experience. You will greet guests, assist with questions, and promote Target services. You’ll learn and use the Target App and handheld scanners to complete tasks and ensure a smooth store operation.

The role requires strong communication, a willingness to help others, and flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and benefits are provided to eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to assist guests with multiple needs and questions.
• Comfort with using scanning devices and digital tools.
• Adaptable to varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with inquiries to create a welcoming experience.
• Resolve guest concerns with effective problem solving and courtesy.
• Promote store programs and services to drive participation and loyalty.
• Assist with promotions, promotions knowledge, and using store apps.
• Process transactions and support checkout operations as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with stock as required.
