Job summary

Penske Entertainment’s Guest Experience Administration Intern position in Indianapolis offers hands-on exposure to staffing, onboarding, payroll, and event support for the 2027 season. You will assist with recruiting, training, and coordinating seasonal staff, while collaborating with HR, Payroll, and guest services to ensure smooth event operations.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced motorsports environment.

Qualifications

• Previous IMS College Program experience is preferred.
• Strong interest in event and staffing operations.
• Interest and experience in event planning and execution.
• Ability to quickly process and react to problems with minimal supervision.
• Innovative thinker and self-starter with perseverance to lead teams to success.
• Effective written/verbal communication and advanced computer skills.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with application and onboarding activities for all seasonal employees.
• Compose and coordinate correspondences with a diverse group of seasonal employees.
• Conduct phone interviews of potential new employees.
• Help manage employee hiring software and tracking process.
• Assist with the training development of 750 seasonal employees.
• Manage the Track Rescue rehiring and new hire processes for around 150 employees.
• Troubleshoot various event day staffing administrative issues.
• Work closely with Safety Patrol leadership to resolve a wide range of issues.
• Assist with the execution of all staff welfare initiatives including boxed lunches, additional snacks, and other event day welfare items.
• Assist the Administration Coordinator in the planning of staff events such as All-Hands Training Day and large-group meetings.
• Provide administrative and operational support for IMS Guest Experience department.
• Assist with post-event feedback collection and reporting.
• Resolve and communicate customer service-related issues/concerns.
• Actively participate in all College Program activities and development opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
