Job summary

Penske Entertainment in Indianapolis, IN is offering a Guest Experience Administration Intern for the 2027 season. The role supports seasonal staff recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and training, reporting to the Administration Coordinator.

You'll collaborate with HR and Payroll to resolve employee issues, and help ensure smooth operations for large-scale motorsports events. This internship emphasizes hands-on learning and cross‑department teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous IMS College Program experience preferred.
• Interest in event and staffing operations.
• Interest and experience in event planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with seasonal staff recruitment, onboarding and payroll processes.
• Coordinate correspondences with seasonal employees and manage onboarding communications.
• Conduct phone interviews of potential new employees.
• Help manage employee hiring software and tracking processes.
• Assist with the training development of 750 seasonal employees.
• Support rehiring and new hire processes for around 150 personnel.
• Troubleshoot event-day staffing administrative issues.
• Collaborate with Safety Patrol leadership to resolve issues.
• Assist with staff welfare initiatives (boxed lunches, snacks, etc.).
• Assist Administration Coordinator in planning staff events (All-Hands Training Day).
• Provide administrative and operational support for IMS Guest Experience.
• Assist with post-event feedback collection and reporting.
• Resolve customer service-related issues/concerns.
• Participate in College Program activities and development opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
