Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a courteous Beverage Server for the Weston Courtyard location in Weston, FL. This full-time role involves serving beverages and light food to guests, taking room service orders, and handling cashier duties for the lounge.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, maintaining bar stock and garnish prep, complying with liquor regulations, and ensuring clean, safe work conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.
• Basic English language writing skills necessary for completion of requisitions, and vouchers.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to garnish, handle glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and retrieve stock.
• Ability to communicate simple instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner; promote and document drink orders.
• Maintain proper setup of the bar daily; stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, and condiments.
• Prepare garnishes and ensure fresh fruit and perishables are cut and stored daily.
• Receive cash from guests, verify charges, balance money, and handle vouchers.
• Answer bar phone within three rings; take room service orders and input into POS; generate checks.
• Follow safety, health standards and company policies; assist other beverage personnel as needed.
