Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management Weston location seeks a Part-Time Beverage Server to greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and assist room-service orders in the lounge. You will ensure guest satisfaction by delivering timely service, maintaining beverage station, and handling cash transactions with accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of liquor regulations, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced hotel bar environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Must have a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register, make change, total checks, and perform cash drops.
• Basic English writing skills for requisitions and vouchers.
• Sufficient manual dexterity for garnishes, glassware, and stock handling.
• Basic English to understand inquiries from customers and communicate instructions.
• Ability to understand product labeling for safe handling of materials.
• Ability to remember and promote the menu items.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk repeatedly.
• Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, and standing.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and document drink orders.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control.
• Maintain daily bar setup and stock of beer, wine, spirits, and bar supplies.
• Handle cash transactions, balance money, and secure bank and deposits.
• Answer bar phone and take room service orders; input orders into the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning and adhere to health standards and safety rules.
• Follow company policies and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
• Assist other beverage personnel as needed and perform related duties.
