Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly bartender to serve beverages and/or food to guests, ensuring satisfaction. You will greet guests, record orders, mix drinks, and operate the cash register with accurate deposits.

The role requires knowledge of liquor regulations, basic math, and the ability to stand for long periods. You will maintain bar stock, assist with room-service orders, and follow health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations.
• Basic math for cash handling and verifying charges.
• Basic writing skills for requisitions and vouchers.
• Ability to garnish and prepare drinks with standard recipes.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment including coffee makers.
• Stamina to stand/walk and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promote/record drink orders.
• Mix, garnish and present drinks with portion control.
• Maintain bar setup and stock beverages, garnishes and supplies.
• Handle cash, balances and deposits accurately.
• Answer the bar phone and take room service orders.
• Perform cleaning tasks and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to all policies and safety rules.
• Assist other beverage staff as needed.
