Pet Paradise in Kentucky is seeking a Front Desk Associate who greets guests with warmth and professionalism. You will handle check-ins/outs, answer calls and emails, coordinate pet room placement, walk dogs for drop-off and ensure suites meet needs, all while keeping the lobby clean and inviting in a fast-paced, pet-loving environment.

Starting at $14.00/hour, with $0.50 raises at 6 months and annually, the role offers daily pay, paid time off for both full-time and part-time staff, discounts

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service role.
• Detailed, but can work with a sense of urgency while providing exceptional customer service.
• Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail, especially where documentation is concerned.
• Enjoys problem solving in order to provide our guests and customers with a premier experience.
• This position requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods of time.
• Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and pets at the resort entrance, smiling and engaging with guests.
• Organize and process check-ins and check-outs.
• Walk dogs for drop-off and pickup and coordinate suite placement at needs.
• Answer incoming phone calls, voicemails, and emails promptly.
• Complete cashier and point of sale operations.
• Communicate and follow through with pet parents and resort leadership requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the entrance and lobby, including restrooms.
• Support the cat room as needed per resort routines.
• Liaise with veterinary service team and monitor appointment status.
• Handle taking off/putting on harnesses at check-in/out.
• Ensure suites are set up for each pet.
• Be familiar with different types of harnesses.
