Job summary

Pet Paradise is seeking a Front Desk Associate to serve as the welcoming face of our Chattanooga resort, greeting pet parents and their pets with a friendly smile. Responsibilities include check-ins/outs, handling calls and emails, and coordinating pet suites while ensuring all needs are met.

The position offers growth through the Unleashed Leadership Academy and sponsorships in Grooming, Dog Training, and more, along with benefits like paid time off and health coverage for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a customer service role
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs
• Cheerful, friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Enjoys problem solving to provide premier guest experiences
• Flexibility to work including weekends, holidays, and peak times

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and pets at check-in and ensure a positive first interaction
• Organize and process check-ins and check-outs
• Walk dogs for drop-off and pickup and coordinate suite placement
• Answer phone calls, respond to voicemails and emails promptly
• Perform cashier and point of sale operations
• Communicate with pet parents and resort leadership as needed
• Maintain entrance lobby cleanliness and restrooms
• Support cat room and resort routines
• Coordinate with veterinary service team as needed
• Managing harnesses at check-in/check-out and preparing suites
• Familiarity with different types of harnesses
