Job summary

Pet Paradise in St. Augustine is seeking a Front Desk Associate who welcomes guests and their pets with warmth and professionalism. You will manage check-ins, answer calls and emails, and coordinate pet care while ensuring a clean, friendly lobby.

Starting at $14.00/hour with increases at 6 months and again on the annual anniversary, this role offers advancement through leadership and grooming/training academies, plus benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to solve problems and provide premier guest experience.
• Detail-oriented with documentation accuracy.
• Positive, cheerful, team-oriented attitude.
• Physically capable of pet handling and standing long periods.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet pet parents and guests warmly at resort entrance.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs and assist with suite placement.
• Walk dogs during drop-off/pick-up and coordinate care needs.
• Answer phones, respond to voicemails and emails promptly.
• Perform cashier and point-of-sale duties accurately.
• Communicate requests to resort leadership and follow up.
• Keep lobby and restrooms clean and presentable.
• Assist with cat room care and veterinary appointment coordination.
• Handle harnesses during check-in/out and set up suites.
• Familiarize yourself with different dog harness types.
