Job summary

Soho House in New York is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet members and guests, check them in, and guide them through hotel services. You will manage concierge tasks, respond to inquiries, and balance cash at shift end.

The role requires hospitality, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and strong communication. Night/weekend availability is expected, with opportunities to learn Soho House amenities and experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of similar role or customer service / facing role.
• Ability to multi-task, handle high-volume inquiries and provide professional service.
• Quick learner with experience in OpenTable, Salesforce, Google Sheets or Opera.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests upon arrival and ensure warm, professional check-in.
• Manage concierge duties such as bookings for cars, tickets, reservations, spa and dining.
• Answer emails and inquiries; print/scan documents for guests and rooms.
• Communicate hours, restrictions and workflow changes to all departments daily.
• Handle billing inquiries, folios, receipts, and refunds; ensure secure handling of cards.
• Discuss Soho House amenities and room options to maximize guest experience and revenue.
• Direct valet and luggage storage support to appropriate staff.
• Participate in daily shift briefings and maintain phone etiquette.
