Job summary

The Katharine Brasserie & Bar in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States is seeking a restaurant hospitality team member to ensure guests receive dishes promptly and courteously.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and inviting dining room and support coworkers as needed. A minimum of 1 year in a related role is preferred; Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certification are recommended; flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related or supportive role preferred.
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable).
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Able to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the Restaurant POS system is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome restaurant guests.
• Deliver food to the tables ensuring timely delivery and correct temperature.
• Deposit dishes in the dish-room or specified area.
• Clean and set tables according to standards; manage bussing stations.
• Learn and maintain product knowledge of the food, wine, and beverage menus.
• Attend trainings and meetings; communicate with staff and management.
