Job summary

Milwaukee Rescue Mission is seeking a Guest Care Advocate in Milwaukee, WI, to engage with men in our Safe Harbor program, focusing on recruiting for long-term services and providing case management with a Biblical foundation. This full-time role emphasizes relational work, compassion, and faith-driven service.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 2–3 years of ministry experience, and a willingness to share the gospel.

Qualifications

• Christian values and ability to relate to diverse populations.
• Bachelor's Degree in applicable field preferred.
• 2–3 years case management or ministry experience preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED training preferred with willingness to certify within one year.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit guests for New Journey Program candidacy.
• Develop and execute guest-specific renewal plans.
• Manage New Journey candidacy process with Biblical Counselor for all candidates.
• Identify guests for Community Support Services and manage progress.
• Identify, recruit, and manage guests for Vocational Initiative Services.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Safety team to maintain safety of the Mission and guests.
• Assist guests in understanding and following premises rules.
