Job summary

FirstService Residential is hiring a Security Associate in West Palm Beach, FL. You will greet residents and guests, register visitors, and help maintain safety across the property while operating electronic security control systems.

The role requires a Florida Security License, strong customer service skills, and 2–3 years of related experience. It is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits and potential overtime to support property needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Valid Florida Security License “D”
• Must possess strong customer service background.
• 2–3 years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Reads and understands the Employee Handbook/SOPs.
• Attends Security/Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
