Job summary

FirstService Residential in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Security Associate to provide top‑tier service to residents and guests, greet and register visitors, and help maintain a safe property.

You will operate electronic security systems, log daily records, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with the Security Supervisor. This full‑time role includes shift flexibility and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Valid Florida Security License “D” is required.
• Must possess strong customer service background.
• 2–3 years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests, register them, and maintain safety of the property.
• Monitor and operate Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
• Control access to the building and maintain daily logs.
• Maintain a safe environment throughout the building/property.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Must read The Continental Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
• Attend Security/Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
