Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Security Associate in West Palm Beach, FL to greet residents and guests, monitor access, and maintain daily logs. You will operate electronic security systems and respond to emergencies to keep the property safe.

Requirements include a High School diploma, Florida Security License “D”, and 2–3 years of related experience. Weekend shifts and full-time benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
• Valid Florida Security License “D”.
• Must possess strong customer service background.
• 2–3 years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Reads and understands policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
• Attends Security / Front Desk staff meetings.
• May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
