Job summary

FirstService Residential in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a security associate to greet residents and guests, monitor access, and maintain daily logs, ensuring safety across the property.

You will respond to emergencies, operate electronic security control systems, work Monday and Tuesday 7am–3pm, and collaborate with the Security Supervisor. The role requires a Florida Security License and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College-level business or hospitality coursework preferred.
• Valid Florida Security License “D” required.
• Strong customer service background and communication skills.
• 2–3 years in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitors and controls access to the building.
• Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
