Job summary

Brex is seeking a People Business Partner in New York City to drive org design, workforce planning, and change management for senior GTM leaders. This hybrid role combines strategic advisory work with hands-on execution as Brex scales in a fintech environment.

You will partner with Employee Relations, Compensation, and People Operations to ensure high performance, equity, and effective coaching across Sales Development and Customer Experience teams.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in People Business Partner, Employee Relations, or related functions.
• Experience advising senior leaders on org design, workforce planning, and organizational change.
• Strong understanding of performance management practices in high‑performance cultures.
• Experience partnering with Employee Relations on sensitive employee matters with sound judgment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence outcomes without direct authority.
• Comfort using data to tell a story, identify trends, and drive decisions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client groups and priorities.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders across Sales Development and Post Sales.
• Drive high performance by coaching leaders on expectations, feedback, and calibration.
• Use data and health metrics to diagnose trends and recommend interventions to GTM leadership.
• Lead org design with GTM leaders, aligning structure and headcount with strategy and growth.
• Partner with Employee Relations on sensitive matters, escalating risks as needed.
• Support bi‑annual promotion and calibration cycles for client groups.
• Drive cross‑functional People projects with other People teams.
