Job summary

Clay is seeking a Software Engineer for GTM Ops to build internal tools and AI-powered workflows that improve how our GTM teams operate. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to translate needs into production software that delivers immediate business impact.

You will own projects from discovery to production, iterate quickly with end users, and help shape the evolving GTM engineering function as AI transforms how we go-to-market.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building production software.
• Fluent in TypeScript or Python and comfortable across the full stack.
• Experience building internal tools, workflow automation, developer platforms, or customer-facing products.
• Built AI-powered applications using LLMs and modern AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build internal products that accelerate Clay's GTM teams.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery through production and ownership.
• Partner directly with GTM teams to identify high-leverage opportunities.
• Build AI-native workflows using Clay, LLMs, and modern automation frameworks.
• Design integrations across Clay, Salesforce, Snowflake, Slack, internal APIs, and other business systems.
• Create tooling and platforms that enable rapid experimentation across the business.
• Help define what modern GTM Engineering looks like as AI transforms go-to-market.
