Job summary

Handshake is seeking a senior GTM Engineer to join our AI‑driven GTM engineering team in San Francisco. You will build AI‑driven automation across our GTM stack, enabling Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and RevOps to move faster and work more intelligently.

You will own the execution of automation across systems like Salesforce, Gainsight, Gong, Nooks, Clay, and BigQuery, turning ambiguous problems into reliable automated solutions while shipping maintainable, well‑documented code.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in GTM Engineering, RevOps, Marketing Ops, Sales Systems Engineering, or Growth Engineering with automation for a B2B SaaS GTM org.
• AI coding assistant fluency (Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor) to scaffold and ship automation quickly.
• Advanced Clay or similar enrichment/orchestration platform knowledge.
• SQL fluency and ability to write multi‑table queries in a warehouse (dbt, BigQuery).
• Hands‑on Salesforce experience with data model, Flows, and formulas; Apex a plus.
• Ownership mindset: define scope and ship a solid v1 with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Mine the prospect base for signals and feed the pipeline with Clay workflows.
• Build AI‑powered workflows and agents using Salesforce Flows and Workato, plus code.
• Turn ambiguous problems into reliable AI‑powered automation.
• Ship end‑to‑end GTM systems with documentation, monitoring, and testing.
• Champion AI across GTM, spreading best practices and enabling rapid adoption.
