Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters seeks a Go To Market Merchandising leader for AE Canada to translate US learnings into a Canada-ready plan. You will master the Canadian customer, optimize product mix and pricing, and influence US decisions for best local results.

Reporting to the Country Manager, Canada, you will guide the Canada GTM team, partner with US Merchandising and Planning, and travel to key milestones to ensure alignment with strategic targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or related field.
• 5–10 years of merchandising experience with some planning experience preferred.
• Experience in clothing retail, Canadian market preferred.
• Familiarity with AEO systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Canada GTM merchandising strategy and pricing alignment.
• Collaborate with US Merchandising to align Canada deviations.
• Lead Canada GTM initiatives and drive commercial outcomes.
• Partner with Strategy team to align promotional calendar.
• Represent AE Canada in PLC meetings with market insights.
• Drive annual and seasonal targets with Planning GTM Director.
• Mentor and develop the Canada GTM Merchandising Manager.
• Uphold company values and travel as required.
