Job summary

Pave Finance, Inc. is seeking a Go-to-Market Engineer to join our cross-functional team in New York City. You’ll bridge engineering, product, and customer-facing groups to solve technical problems that accelerate sales and improve onboarding for clients.

You’ll own the on-the-ground role design, collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product, and travel to sites as needed. The position emphasizes hands-on prototyping, APIs, and finance-domain learning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building software in a customer-facing or business-facing environment.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and data; understands how systems fit together.
• Strong product judgment and ability to translate customer problems into practical technical solutions.
• Comfortable working directly with customers to understand ambiguous requirements and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Join prospect and client meetings to understand technical requirements and determine fit.
• Own the problem behind a customer request end to end; anticipate what the customer really needs.
• Build prototypes, integrations, and solutions in front of customers to demonstrate use cases and retain clients.
• Help drive long-term product strategy by identifying common themes in the field and bringing them to leadership.
• Automate repetitive workflows across Sales, Customer Success, and client implementations.
• Build a strong understanding of Pave’s portfolio management technology, APIs, data, and trading infrastructure.
